  • No training within a training contract

I have a training contract with a company to become an European patent attorney. To qualify an attorney has to sign a certificate of training. However, my company has no attorneys and said they would negotiate an external attorney to train me. Well, the contract was signed more than a year ago and I have been working for the company during the entire time, all kind of things. Mostly not related to my job description at all. While my contract does not define anything except the starting date of the training contract, which is more than a year ago. I do have a conditional offer that I signed before the contract was drafted, which does state that within the 1-2 years of employment my work will be based on the company's needs. However, it does also say it should have more than 50% patent work, which is also not the case.
I wonder whether the company is in breach of the contract? In my opinion they would be and whether a conditional offer has any effect whatsoever?
