My company have asked me to sign a clawback agreement for training I was provided with back in May. They have said that due to their error, I was not asked to sign it before I sat the course. Do I have to sign it or can I legally refuse to?

If there is nothing in your contract then in my opinion your company cannot expect you to sign a clawback agreement 5 months after the event. This agreement should have been made available to you at the time the training was being discussed and signed by both parties in advance of the training commencing.
