Work dispute with payments

Hello,

I don't really know where to start but I am looking for advice before i go any further with my current situation.

My current situation is that I provided the wrong bank details which later i noticed 24/48h before the payment was meant to be sent, I went ahead and notified them by phone and email and they said I had to wait till it bounced back which it never did, I later called to check and was promised that the money will be sorted out by the 22nd of august which was a lie. I've called my bank to see what there advise was, they instructed me to inform my employer at the time that they should call back the funds which they are refusing to do so. Just wondering what advise or how would I be able to get my salary as I've been contacted by Acas and the employer refused to call back the payment or anything?

So effectively you provided the wrong bank details to your employer and your salary has been paid into this account assuming it is an actual account. What your employer should have done is contacted their bank and explain the situation and started the process with the bank of reclaiming the funds. Knowing that the payment will be returned then they should have arranged for payment into the correct account details.

What reasons have they given for not pursuing return of the funds via the company's bank?

Has your salary since Aug been paid into the correct bank account?
