  • Please help!!!

I worked in a company for over 4 years, then they announced redundancies as I’ve got family to support i desided not to wait till last day and get myself a new job before Christmas. So I left my old company in mid of December last year had my last pay. I’m in new job for last 7 months.
This morning I’m getting a letter from dept collectors saying that I owe my company £640, on the leltter they put that they believe that I am aware of it and it was communicated to me...
No since I left I had no contact with that company, I have no idea what it could be it’s 7month ago since I worked there. Nothing was deducted from my last wages there just had my last 2 weeks pay and that’s it!
    What should I do???

I’m thinking could it be for my holidays? As the holiday there goes from April to April and when I left I had only 2 days remaining till April... But why they not had a direct contact with me? And why did they not deducted from last wages? So confused *♀️

So write to them and complain about debt collectors being let loose when you don't know of any debt owed.
