Just a quick update - which isn't much of an update!

Medical notes have been sent, document disclosure in ongoing, witness lists have been been shared.

They have now offered me a laughable amount to go away (my solicitor agreed it was an unreasonable offer) - so we have gone back with a counter offer (which I am sure will be rejected) ...

Currently working on my witness statement.... this process is a hard slog, and very stressful!!

Just wanted you to know, I check in here every day, and I haven't just vanished

Hi lovely to hear from you and get an update on your case.
Yes going through a tribunal claim is tough but it sounds like you are getting some good support from your solicitor which is great and they can help guide you through this.
Hope you are staying safe and good luck as you navigate this process.*

Hello all. It is finally over, 2 years and 12 days after I was sacked!

After lots of backwards and forwards, and turning down ridiculous offers from them, I stuck to my guns and refused to even counter offer in the end. I was set for a 6 day hearing early next year.

Today I have received the payment into my account, of the amount I was willing to settle for.

Its a lot less than I would have been awarded had I fought in court and won my case (which I am certain I would have), but I think the cost to my mental and physical health would have been tremendous.

Even the realisation that I don't have to endure 6 gruelling days reliving what was an absolutely horrible time for me, has lifted a huge weight from me.

Thank you so much for all your help, advice and support.

Wishing you all a happy and healthy Christmas x
