    Sorry just a couple of questions to help me provide a response:

    When did the disciplinary meeting take place and the subsequent appeal?
    When did you made the FOI and when did you get the information about the time of the complaint?

        I would suggest that now you have the information your brother writes to the appropriate person and explain you now have this information which proves that the complaint was made at a time your brother and his colleagues were confirmed as being at college. Ask that as a consequence of this information the disciplinary action needs to be reviewed.

        In addition ask for a copy of the current grievance procedure. This should alert them to the fact that this is being considered by your brother, which may encourage them to review the disciplinary action taken without the need for a grievance to be raised.
