  • EAT rule 3 (10) help needed

An employment law appeal has failed the sift. It involves disability discrimination.
I am trying to pull together a request for oral hearing. My question is....how much detail needs to go into the request? Do I need to set out the full reasons or can it be simply a request ?
    Feeling overwhelmed here !

Has your claim been rejected in whole or in part under rule 10 or 12? Your application for a reconsideration needs to be on the basis that either:

    (a) the decision to reject was wrong; or

    (b) the notified defect can be rectified.

Your application needs to be in writing and presented to the Tribunal within 14 days of the date that the notice of rejection was sent. It should explain in detail why you believe the decision to reject the claim is wrong or detail how you intend to rectify any defect identified. If you wish to request a hearing this shall also be detailed in the application.

I do not provide advice by PM although I may on occasion ask you to send me documents this way but any related advice will be provided back on your thread.

I do my best to provide good practical advice, however I do so without liability.
If you have any doubts then do please seek professional legal advice.
