Hi everyone, I am new to the forum. I have a employment tribunal issue. My wife had what her lawyer called a 'nailed on' case for disability discrimination and victimisation against her employer. However she has recently passed away. Before passing away she did not make a signed statements of the facts of the case. The respondents are now saying we no longer have a case because of this. Any help please.

So sorry to hear the sad news about your wife. It is not something that I have an answer to, however what stage has your wife's case got to i.e. had an ET1 form been submitted? Also you say that a lawyer had confirmed a strong case have you spoken to them about the respondent's view?If you would like a one-to-one expert consultation with me on your employment issue than I can be contacted by emailing admin@legalbeaglesgroup.com
I do my best to provide good practical advice, however I do so without liability.
