So embarrassed have to take off with stress .. my work collegues remark at my ocd i.e we hot desk.. take seat available .. and I clean with dettol or wipes use hand cleanser .. I'm always clean but had huge abcess was on strong antibiotics face swollen antibiotics increased to 1000mg thats a lot .. they antibiotics can smell so doubled on perfume washing .. called in by manager who asked 3 times if my washing machine broke .. not are you ok or I know you've been unwell but implied 3 times .that I'm dirty which I'm certainly not.. infact twice that same day was asked about my perfume .. but manager decides I'm dirty ..I'm so disgusted by this do I have any recourse ?Manager has now made me stressed and off work .. in five years I've previously had 5 days sickness including cancer scare ..thankfully all ok .. if my antibiotics had created smell it was certainly not worse than damp sports bags and out of date food and weirdly shoes abandoned on floor .. that manager didn't have issue with .. I'm a clean person my manager has humilated me what can I do ??No concern re abcess just seemed bullied and focussed on clothes .. there is no issue with my clothes (Get Kim and Aggie their tests would show all clean ..) this is horrid .. help.. my clothes and person are clean.

And the focus was on my clothes ie asking 3 times if my washing machine broke .. so I don't think antibiotics were issue .. In meeting I was wearing jacket lifted of dry cleaners and new dress that was washed before wearing ... so can a manager degrade you like this ??

I completely sympathise. I'm on chemo at the moment and I can hardly stand myself. The smell seems to ooze out of my skin. Constant showering only helps temporarily. If I wasn't already off sick from work I would be staying home anyway just because of how I smell.
It was incredibly insensitive of your manger to speak to you this way.
Even if you didn't tell him that it was possible that the smell could be because of the antibiotics he knew that you had a medical issue, because he saw your swollen face and made a stupid joke about it. So instead of asking the same question over and over he could have worked out for himself that this may be the cause.
In your place I'd send him an email saying so.
