  • Graduate accounts, funding for Legal Practice Course

    Hi guys,

I've just been accepted to law school, woop woop! The only problem being that fees alone are £12,500 and I'll probably be looking to move to central London (as I'm currently a 1.5 hour communte which would set me back at laest £3,500 in an annual rail season ticket - joy!).

Any advice on the best routes to funding this (full time) course, any good graduate accounts that might come in handy and any post-grad knowhow would be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    CT

NatWest do grad loans for law students.
Loans for College of Law Students - LPC, BVC, GDL - NatWest

Not sure if helpful or not.

It's handy if I choose the College of Law, which is one of my 3 options, but the other 2 are not within Natwests limited LPC loan coverage

Is there any kind of similar loan structure for people going to a university based LPC course, or at Kaplan business school (London)?

      edit:
Just found this from Barclays (who aren't top of my list for providers given the run-around they seem to give their customers) but it isn't linked to any particular LPC provider that I can see.

Is this any good? HSBC are due to re start this loan scheme shortly.
