    my son got sent home for fighting today and I got copied into an email about a meeting in the morning my ex has said to me if i want to go i have to make my own appointment
    I take him to school every morning (child arrangement order ) I also have parental rights
    can she stop me going ?

      When I was a Head teacher our school policy reflected parental relationships. If, for example, they wanted separate meetings for open nights we had them. If they were in harmony then both came together.
      I would question the school as to why you were only copied in. Surely the meeting should have been arranged with you. You need clarity on the school policy. As an aside being sent home for a simple fight seems excessive, unless liked to Covid-19 rules.
