am wondering whether anyone can advise on the correct way of getting this sorted.
Last year I sorted some debts out that had been hanging over my head and had moved to debt collection agents/CCJ level. I sent off a CCA request to Cabot financial for a debt they had bought of a Next account and they wrote back to say that they cannot find the details and the case is now stayed with the court.
Today I have received a letter from them saying I owe Vodafone £567 and they have acquired the debt. I have only ever once had a Vodafone phone and this was 18 years ago when I worked for them and did not have any debt from it as I worked for them and was on a staff contract! Since then I have been with EE or O2! Is there any sort of letter I can write disputing this so called debt etc?
