  • CCJ removal when paid within 30 days

    Hi Guys,

I am really hoping someone will be able to help me with this frustrating problem, I feel like I've hit a dead end and I am banging my head against a wall !!!

We had a county court judgment issued against us in 2014. We had miss paid our final payment by £30, instead of just asking us for the £30 they raised a CCJ against us. Obviously as soon as we received this paperwork and were made aware of our mistake we paid the money that day, so it was well within the 30 days. The CCJ has been marked as satisfied on our credit file but I want it removed because we did pay within the 30 days.

I have spoken with the court who have advised that we need a letter, on headed paper from the company confirming that they agree we paid on time. Once we have that we will need to pay £15, which I am happy to do to get this removed!

I have spoken with the company who raised the CCJ who agree we paid within the 30 days and agree to send out the letter, but no matter how many times I chase it they never send it.

I have now spoken with the solicitor they used to raise the CCJ who also agree we paid within the 30 days and also agree to send out the letter. However again they never do it. Every time I call they tell me it will be counter signed this week and sent out but it never arrives. Then when I call back they say that it will be getting counter signed this week instead and sent out, they guarantee each time but yet again it never arrives. This has been going on for months now and I really don't know what else to do!

Any help or insight would be appreciated

    Thanks in advance .
