Received county court claim from Nothhampton about 6 days ago filled it in and sent it off now in retro I think I panicked I admitted the debt but told them they had sent no warnings that my payment had been stopped I was paying £1a month and have been doing so for about 5yrs then that wonderful group PRA got hold of debt and said id defaulted the original debt was from mbna I wrote to PRA told them they give me no notice and if they had all letters had gone to previous address they have not replied yet I said iwould continue if they send me new account number I'm on ESA and cannot afford more anyway sent forms off to court and wrote a letter to PRA fact is I owe about £60,000 all other creditors ha ve played ball after a bit of wrangling with a few how do you think I should carry on should I apply for bankruptcy I've also been told I don't need ex60 claim form just send court proof of ESA claim which I got yesterday and that will be enough no doubt I've made loads of mistakes can they be cleared up and if I apply for bankruptcy and start paying instalments would that bring an end to it really sorry for novel hope you can help many thanks.

Acknowledge Claim - within 14 days from Service
Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)
If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
