Last week (Tuesday or Thursday) I received court papers for a claim against me. I dispute the amount in the particulars of the claim and also did not receive any communication from the company what so ever in the preceeding 10 weeks before the claim. Certainly no Notice Before Action etc
It's no particular big deal, I have the money to pay the claim as is and believe in paying my way in this world, and I do owe them some money and am happy to pay that, but I think this lot are having a laugh with the particulars of the claim, but that's probably a different thread
Anyway, With every intention to respond via the "government gateway" I tucked the paperwork away somewhere safe (I didn't want my better half getting all concerned about it), and now can't remember where I placed it. How do I go about responding to this before a default judgement gets put in place?
I'm working away from home in a mobile deadspot so daytime phone calls etc are difficult at the moment and obviously I need to start dealing with it sharpish.
Where's my first port of call?
thanks in advance
