  • Ccj form received today car finance

Hi everyone I received a county court claim form this morning. I no longer have the car as I had a car crash (not my fault) When I received the payout it was only £1000 I had no choice but to buy a little run about with it. When I brought the car I was already in a lot of debt and just had a baby. The company is a bad credit car finance company. I have paid £1400 in total they lent me £2289 and I should of paid them 3833.44 in total. They now want £3567 they have added an extra 1028 in interest reminder charges and interest. I have been in contact with the financial ombudsman’s about irresponsible lending from the car finance company. But they have said I could be waiting another month for a response from them. the car finance company already know I have a ccj as they asked about it when I purchased the car. do I have any chance with fighting this?*

    Thanks*
