Hello, please could anybody give me any advice please,i have been sent a demand from ACI/Perch a couple of days ago for just over £500 regarding an old MYJAR loan which they state they are the legal owners of (loan taken October 2017) i have dealt with this company before regarding another lender for an outstanding debt of £200 and they have never replied to any of my requests for copies of the details of the loan, blanked me out completely, this resulted in a county court date being set at which point i paid the £200 as my partner and myself were in the process of applying for a mortgage and a ccj would have wrecked that,l will add that i had spent 3 years repairing my credit score, repaying all the payday loans(to many to mention).I now have a horrible feeling this will go the same way, as my fixed rate ends in 12 months and we are hoping to switch mortgage to another lender,i really do not want to pay these people, what they do maybe legal???, but it is not moral, should the worst happen and it goes to county court and they find in there favour would there be an opportunity for me to pay the £500 and the ccj not go on my credit report after the court hearing, or is it that you have to pay before the court date or suffer the consequences,if anybody can help Thank you,Thank you,Thank you
