  • Allegedly Drunk Passenger

A passenger boards an international flight which has a scheduled stop an hour, stays 30 minutes, then carries on to another destination.
At the intermediary destination some passengers stay on, some get off and some new passengers board.
A passenger who has boarded at the original departure is adjudged to be intoxicated but does not have a visa to enter the country that is the intermediary stop, only the final destination.
Can the airline kick him off at the intermediary stop even though he has no legal right to enter that country.

If not what can they do ?
If so does the airline have to pay for his flight home on a different airline as according to CAA regulations an airline is responsible that all passengers have legal right of entry they disembark at ?
