  • HCEO Enforcement - Timeline?

    Hi Guys,

Sorry if I'm a bit loose with terminology, my claim is being dealt with via a 3rd party but the information they offer is extremely vague, so having to gain some clarity here.

I have a claim for c£7000 against a Ltd Company for which i've obtained a judgement in default (zero communication since initial letter before claim). Now at the stage where it is being transferred to the high court to obtain a writ, to then begin enforcement via HCEO.

At this stage, all I wanted to understand is:

*What are the steps that happen that would (hopefully) result in me collecting what is owed to my company

*What does a rough/generic timeline look like from Sending the letter to transfer to HC > HCEO being appointed > HCEO attending/visiting the company?

FYI - I checked their accounts and defendant is a company with lots in the bank, but are for all intents and purposes a services company so in terms of non-cash assets, it would be computer workstations at their premises.

Any help/clarity on this process would be SUPER helpful!
