RLP have Passed me on to Capital Resolve debt recovery

Hi,

After ignoring all the RLP threat / begging letters, i thought they had given up, But ive just recieved a letter from Capital Resolve debt recovery on behalf of RLP.

They have made me a counter offer of £73.75 of the original £147.50, and they have used the usual scare tactics in the letter, etc.

Am i ok to carry on ignoring these, or does this company have the powers to break into my home and remove goods etc?

The crime was committed in December 2014 and i was issued with a £90 fixed penalty notice off the Police and banned from the store. I paid my fine to the police within the 4 weeks warranted.

Just ignore :nod: ... there was no court case so the DCA cannot do anything except request you pay

Thank you Kati. So i guess that Captital Resolve are gonna keep sending me letters wih the the price going up and up until they realise that im not playing ball with them, and then they will give up?

When DCAs get involved, and they send begging letters that you pay them something with a threat in BIG SCARY RED letters that they intend to sell your children into slavery or some ridiculous garbage about advising RLP to start court proceedings (which we all know RLP cannot do) you know you are coming to the end of the cycle.
As per Kati... ignore, ignore and ignore some more!
