Hi,

I did something very stupid. I got caught shoplifting in Primark. I feel terrible about this especially because I am not a bad person. Primark took my photographic identity but the police were not called. I have been told to wait for a letter from RLP about the penalty. I just want to know:

a) Will they forward my information to the police? I am very upset by this and I wish i could just take it all back!

take some time to look for RLP related threads and posts on here they as you will read are a bunch of chancers with no legal powers and cannot fine you or anything that the Law can .
As the Policewere not involved you have committed no offence ignore any thing these morons send to you and await advice on here.

Hi and welcome
As Wales has said, as the police were not involved you will not hear from them.
You do not have a criminal record.
You will receive an "invitation" from RLP to make a donation to their profits.
They will write several letters in legalese to try and frighten you into paying their charges.
Ignore them all, but come back here if you want reassurance.
Now forget about it, and have a good Christmas
