Hi

stupidly tried to take some items today without paying. Paid for some of the shopping but not all. Security came over while I was at the till and asked if i had paid for all my shopping. I then asked if I could pay for it, she said yes and I did so and left the store. Nothing else was said. What will happen next?

Probably nothing. Some people are absent minded and may have 'truly' forgotten about an item. You may be watched in future, so don't be 'absent minded' again.

Thank you, so if they didn’t issue me with a ban I am ok to go back? Will never be ‘absent minded’ again

Shouldn't be a problem. You haven't had a ban from the store,
