I got shoplifting 1 item from TK Max today. I'm beyond embarassed and now realise how silly it was, the security must've saw me put it in my bag as they stopped me at the exit. I returned the item right away and they let me go after a few harsh words on how he could phone the police and ban me from all stores. My worry is I had my work lanyard on at this time and he saw it as he mentioned it. Is there any chance of this being reported to police / my work or anywhere after the security letting me go? I am absolutely terrified and ashamed of myself so please no judgment.
