Jamesyoung the fact that nobody ever comes back and says you gt it wrong is a good indication that nothing ever happens.
Stop fretting, and if you require more reassurance please start your own thread, giving full details of the incident

Can someone point to the case a few years ago which RLP brought and lost? This explains why they do not move beyond letters. Presumably the letters bring in enough to justify their existence.Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.
Litigants in Person should download and read the Judiciary's handbook for litigants in person: https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/..._in_Person.pdf

After we first published the judgment we got threatened by RLP via Schillings, so we published that too. We responded with the assistance of Mark Stephens and never heard from them again. Civil Recovery Firm lashes out at Consumer Forums after Court defeat - LegalBeagles Forum

Thank you.
May I suggest that a link to the first of those threads be put in the quick links section, given the number of visitors who continue to receive RLP's demands.Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

An update.
Received another letter form S&M today. Image is attached. This whole situation is starting to wear me down now, the constant reminder of my mistake that I have both paid for financially and mentally had drawn on far too long.
I will continue to ignore the letters.
many thanks.

Hello again,
I received another letter from Scott and Meares today.
it’s exactly what I’m sure you’re thinking of. A reminder that I haven’t made a payment and that the company is now in the position to persue legal action through the county court.
I’ll ignore this letter too and I believe it could be the last as the letter states it’s the last they’ll be sending.
If this is the end of the thread I would like to thank everyone who helped and gave advice throughout. It’s deeply appreciated and you all offer good help that helps to bring some peace of mind to people in my position.

Thanks for update, but nothing will happen
Do those firms just hope that a barrage of paper will make a person suddenly give in to their unwarranted demands and continued threats to start court action
Back in May RLP were saying their client (the Range) was now in a position to initiate court action
Now S&M are saying their client (RLP) are now in a position to initiate court action.
The only peeps who could possibly start court action are the Range....(over a £2 item they recovered!!!)...... and after all this time!!!!
