Hi. This is my first time on here, would really like some support. This afternoon I was caught shoplifting at Asda, I don’t condone my actions and as pathetic as it was, it was for a car air freshener. I was stopped outside and taken to a till and paid for the item. Security asked me for id, I have my drivers licence but he never wrote my details down, just looked at it and gave it back. On my way out, I was given a banning letter from the manager. What happens next? I have never stolen before, no police were called. Many thanks.

Hi Silly
You paid for the item, keep the receipt, no police were called, you are 'banned' from the store. So that's it, nothing more should or will happen. Don't worry, get on with your day to day life.
