  • DWF letters - is anyone willing to share

As a recent recipient of a demand for payment to DWF I was wondering whether any of the people that have posted on here in the past could share how long they were hounded by the company before it was dropped. I am currently a nervous wreck!

If you don't respond to them the letter series from DWF seems to be relatively short.

However it doesn't really matter how many letters they send as they are only empty threats, so don't fret over them

I have a letter from DWF today. Is the general advice to ignore them until you get issued with a court letter??!

Yes, but why do you think they might initiate a court claim?

I don’t want to hijack this thread as I’m still waiting for my post to be approved on the forum but I received a letter from DWF on behalf of ****** claiming they hadn’t received my return despite the return saying it’s been delivered, ****** refunding me and then emailing me saying they have my return, over 6 month ago and want the refund sent back to them.. substantial value to me and I’m worried incase it goes all the way up to CCJ level

The letter I have is for a substantial sum. Basically, I sent some items back to ****** online, they sent me an email
saying they received the items and sent me a refund. 6 months later, DWF have randomly got in touch to day they haven’t received the goods despite the tracking for postage etc saying it’s been delivered..

Did you end up emailing them or are you just going to ignore them?
