  • VT - letter chasing excess mileage

    Hi

i returned a car on PCP about three or four months earlier than the contracted end date.

This was two two years ago. MBFS have tried to get excess mileage of £1775 however I went the suggested letters back to them.

As as expected I received a debt collection letter which I went back with the same explanation that the excess mileage isn’t part of the clause when returning a vehicle early.

I have today received a different solicitors letter threating court action again and im a bit worried now.

Should i I just pay - though it would need to be a payment plan.

    Thanks
    debbie

Can you post up the solicitor's letter, with your personal info removed?

Also the debt collector's letter would be helpful too
If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you
