Hi there I want to start off by saying yes I am ashamed of what I have done I am 18 years of age and it is my first shoplifting offence. I was very low on money and I thought I壇 just stuff some items in my bag the total coming to about 」90 in boots and I was caught by the security who called the police but luckily they were too busy and couldn稚 respond to this so I got away withiut being arrested just a letter telling me I am not allowed to enter the store any more and that RLP would send me a letter to recover the money lost. Now I have even reading these scary story痴 of people being billed extortionate amounts. If it is any correlation there was cctv footage of me and my driving license details were taken. I would just like to know what I should do once the letter from RLP arrives and should I pay it also what consequences are there to not paying the amount shown thank you very much

Re: RLP
You ignore any letters you get from RLP. The only consequence is that you will get even more scary letters with even more red ink. Do not pay.
Search for RLP in the forum and you will find many entries, inluding a selection of their letters.
