  • Cash converters

Couple months ago i went to cash converters to get a loan (pay back)on my camera.
The gentleman asked me how much i wanted and i said just 50 pounds which he said no problem.I signed forms and he gave me the 50 pounds.
The end of month passed and i was unable to pay back the 50 pounds,so cash converters sold my camera.

They sold my camera for four hundred and sixty pounds.
Would i have eny rights to go back to the store and ask for more money?

    Re: Cash converters

I would very much doubt so, I suspect the paperwork would have stipulated that if you failed to repay the loan within the agreed timescale the camera would become the property of Cash Converters, what they are able to sell it for after that point is none of your business I would imagine as they owned the camera once you wasn't able to repay the borrowed money in time.

I am sure someone else will be along to give you a better legal perspective though.
