Re: Trades Gateway cancellation Help Please
Good evening, I am currently in a jam with Trades gateway and CF4TS ltd. Is this the appropriate thread to ask for help? I don't want to 'Hijack' a thread if it isn't.
Thanks

Re: Trades Gateway cancellation Help Please
both trades gateway and cf4ts don't have licences anymore but I signed before I'm thinking it was revoked because of all the complaints, I've made and official complaint about the specific person who signed me up for finance been licenced to do so in my home not the company, also that the course is not fit for purpose it takes far longer than 18 months you can't do it while your working because you eventually need to get work experience in order to complete the course which would mean leaving your actual job and there is a time limit of 42 months which is not told to the customers there told you do it in your own time no matter how long that is, the qualifications also just give ability to do the job not the practical experience this would not get anybody a job earning 35 thousand a year more like 15 to 20 for first 2 to 5 years then wages would get better, lots of lies and half of these are advertised on Internet or Facebook, at the moment I have financial ombudsman investigating and I have informed both companies they won't receive anymore payments from me, neither have replied.Originally posted by Amethyst View PostOkay I thought that's what you meant but best to check.
Did you receive anything from them before October last year regarding the card payments ?
CF4TS were still allowed to enter into agreements before July 15th 2016 and can still collect payments for those agreements.
I'm not sure what grounds you had for thinking this
could you explain for me so I can check it out.
Marlborough ( t/as BrightSparks ) were also still authorised in March 2016 - they lost their licence July 2016.

the contracts issue would be if you signed a finance agreement with a company that was unauthorised at the time you signed it - Bright Sparks used CF4TS and credit through Marlborough - so check what it actually says regarding the finance of the course. Actually if you could post a copy of the contract that would be best (remove name etc) - it should say Regulated under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 at the top if it is a regulated agreement ?

Re: Trades Gateway cancellation Help Please
Trades Gateway used the same finance company and I signed on 11th March 2016, the training agreement number and finance agreement number do not match on the credit agreement and they don't show on my credit report, the course is simply impossible for someone who is already working to complete as most of it requires work experience to complete, what do they expect you to do leave your job and stop supporting your family?

Re: Trades Gateway cancellation Help Please
does this mean that a contract with trades gateway signed before these dates are also nil and void?Originally posted by JTolmie88 View PostI also noticed this but even if the director is the one being investigated it should not affect the contract you signed with the company. I do know if you signed before either august or September 2016.... that brightsparks contract is nil and void.

Re: Trades Gateway cancellation Help Please
Yeah requested 3 days ago along with any proof of credit checks they did, no reply to email and nothing through post, request loads of proof of legitimate course and finance documents off of trades gateway aswell they responded with address of training facility which also has bad reports and nothing else other than talk to finance company for credit info and work experience and level 3 will be discussed after 9 weeks of practical has been completed and so on.Originally posted by Blakey77 View PostConsumer Credit Agreement

Re: Trades Gateway cancellation Help Please
The training centre is within traveling distance, the strange thing about all this is that trades gateway now no longer have any licence to sign off on finance, I don't believe the person that signed me up was allowed to do it in my home, he made promises of work on site experience which I don't believe they can provide and is essential to the passing of city and Guilds, nvq qualifications, the finance does not show on my credit report anywhere and the qualifications I'm attempting to obtain have now changed to something different, this is on top of the VR training not working, plus I simply don't believe a credit check was done because I would not have got a 6000 loan from anywhere, can I ask what a CCA Is?

Re: Trades Gateway cancellation Help Please
This is rubbish service and you should make a complaint along those lines, that the course is not fit for purpose or as described and you expect a refund. Were you told there would be support ? - have you had a tutor assigned and have you ever tried to contact them to discuss the course? Have you complained about the VR not working ?Originally posted by swright150783 View PostHi been on a course with trades gateway for around 14 months never missed payment but not getting the course I signed up for no help or direction just books and tests, online VR training does not work, my documents were not signed by myself or there salesman including card payment details, and no papers were sent afterwards confirming direct debits or credit agreement, would like to know if this is mis sold credit and if I am entitled to cancel and possibly be refunded what I have already paid?
Which documents were not signed by yourself ? How is the payment taken each month ?
I'd also send a CCA request to CF4TS if that's who you pay for the course.
