  • Hsbc mi

Hi, I don't know if anyone has had anything like this happen, but let's see.

i had a mortgage turned down by hsbc because I went 140.00 over my overdraft while on holiday. And a credit card payment got returned.

Waited 6 months then re applied. This time got turned down immediately. The Mortgage Manager advised me to bring all my banking to HSBC from Santander. As this would raise my internal credit score. She didn't mention anything about checking the other CRA they use ( I had a copy of my equifax report with me)

jump forward 20 months and after many unsuccessful attempts at gaining a mortgage I. Have just found out I had an incorrect defaults registered to me on callcredit and only callcredit. HSBC had a search registered at the time I was advised to move my banking.

I feel eel this is gross negligence or misadvice. I have raised a complint with the FSA, however I'm wondering if anyone has any luck with something like this.

i think I'm on the verge of obtaining a mortgage now.
