Ok, I had better tell you a story and this one is a good one.
My mother received a letter last week stating that she had had her details sold and that the person concerned had been sacked and police involved.
That might have explained that one weekend when my mother was not home I took a call there from a claims handler stating that my mother was entitled to money. She had had a crash within the time period, however, she was 100% responsible as I am not sure that the bollard not moving is really classed as it's fault

He stated to me, despite me asking a number of times, so my mother is entitled to money when she was at fault for the accident. When he continued to insist that it was true, I told him that he was a liar and that if any of it was true then he can send something IN WRITING to my mother's address.
Needless to say, we never heard from him ever again(I might have possibly downplayed how I attacked him but my brother was laughing his head off at the conversation ).
