My daughter bought a pair of trainers for her 2 yr old and after following the washing instructions washed them in the washing machine and they fell apart. The sole has come away from the upper part of the trainer. They are only a month old. She took them back to the shoe shop expecting to get a replacement and was told by the Manager that because she had washed them she would not replace them, even though they are meant to be washed.
The trainers were probably faulty when sold to her. She rang there customer service line and they said they would have to be assessed first and send them back to the manafacturer first to see if they are faulty first. I know from reading your website that if a product is unfit for purpose ie faulty that my daughter should get a replacement or a refund. If she has had these trainers for just one month and washed them once they are clearly faulty.
I am fed up with going through Managers and complaints procedures so I want to go to the top and complaint to the boss.
Can anybody tell me how to go about it please ?
