  • Price tag changing

    Hi everyone,
A month ago, I changed the price tags on a few items and yes, I regret doing this once I found out it was illegal. I did it for about a month from April-May this year in a cd shop. I stopped doing this on May 5th. Now, I haven't been caught by anybody, but I am incredibly worried as to whether I will be caught. Would anyone know whether I will get caught for this? Btw, the cashier scanned the cds and she altered the price without question and I haven't been sent any civil demand notices or police fines for this act...yet

My law involves the country of Australia, so it is quite similar to that of English law. And how long does it take the police to find out I did it?

In my opinion, there is bugger all chance of your heinous crimes being prosecuted, as it is far too late for any evidence to be valid. On the other hand, you might wish to be gaoled as were so many of the original settlers of your colonies prior to their transportation.

How long do you think evidence has to be in order for it to be valid? A week? Two weeks?

If the woodentops didn't have evidence of your antics at the time, the only way they could get a conviction would be if you confessed voluntarily or they beat it out of you using a rubber hose.

That depends on which territory your in and of course the timezone changes it too.
