    Hi,

Recently I spoke to my Sky rep saying that I wanted to cancel my subscription.

He came back and said I could have June and July at half price and then revert to my 30 day rolling contract, or I could suspend Sky for the summer and continue when i wanted same 30 day rolling contract.

I emailed him with what we discussed he then said that he would get his people to arrange this.

On sorting the half price deal out they then said I would be tied in for 9 months as part of the deal there was never any mention of this before hand.

This is Sky for a Pub if that makes a difference and I am trying to sell the pub so I don't want to be tied in for 9 months as if the pub is sold I then have to pay the rest of the contract.

I feel I am being bullied by these cretins to take the deal regardless do I have a lg to stand on to hold them to the deal the account manager had outlined originally?

    Your truly

If you are out of contract may I suggest you wait until you know if you are leaving the pub and then give notice to finish contract the day you leave.

If they say you are tied in to a 9 month deal, reject it.

I am an ex disconnections advisor for a phone company, if your contract is up it will continue to run until you give notice to cancel, then it will finish at that point.

Thanks, I do have that option although I would have liked to take the deal they had offered, half price for two months no tie in. The main question is can I hold them to the original offer of two months half price no tie in back to my rolling 30 days notice?

tell them to send you the offer in writing then you have proof of your deal.
