  • cat adoption legal advice please... urgent

Hi I am not sure if this is in the correct place on this site, I was sent over here from a pet forum site I hope you can help me

this is my situation at the moment

I adopted a cat from cats protection 3 years ago, she at the time was a 8 year old diabetic cat, and on there advert, they advertised her with all her diabetic needs covered, as I had had a diabetic cat before, I gave her a home.
I have signed a form saying cats protection would cover her diabetic vet costs but its does not specify her food.

I am looking to move out of the area , and have informed cats protection, who have said they would not cover her anymore, until I produced the signed contact above.. but they have not come back with a definate answer, they are saying now they may cover the medical bills but not her food anymore, even tho she needs diabetic food.
All this has come about because we are moving out of the area, up until this point there was no problem at all, I have even collected food for her from branch.. and its also been on medical bills.
I adopted her based on all this would be covered , as knowing that I couldnt cover it, but now I am in the situation where I may need to cover everything, or just her food, and I cant do this finacially.
I have been told options , she could go back into care at now 11 years old and diabetic, or they may request her being put to sleep!
I just dont know what to do, I feel I am being pushed into a corner, as I wont give her up, she is apart of our family, and I will keep pushing the contact with them, but its still could mean i cant get her food she needs..

please help or adivice me of legal help I can get,to ensure cats protection dont break there contact, and continue providing her diabetic food..

I have other cats, and one other is on medication, so I cant afford to add her costs to my already high monthly vet cost

    many thanks
