  • Insurance broker charging £25 for change of address!

Absolutely disgraceful to charge the above just to change the address on car insurance!

Same postal area and first three digits of postcode!

Im thinking of just calling the insurance company and changing it with them, then will advise the broker of the change.

Has anyone else experienced this rip off?

Any solutions would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks for any advice

I suspect you'll find it's pretty much a standard admin fee.

its more likely the insurance company thats chargeing the fee so all the broker is doing is passing it on to you

M&S apparently have no charge for changing details, a friend told me today.

I think that it is far to high of a price to pay, extremely unfair just like the bank charges issue

Im wondering if the insurance is invalid if the address is not changed?

            thanks for your posts
