Has anyone hearde of them?
My O/H had a call from them yesterday evening stating regarding a loan. The caller did not ask for him by name - so in fact it was just a very cold call on an ex directory number.
My o/h started to ask the caller some questions like where are you based - the caller said the UK (I am not so sure that it was)
O/h then asked him for his name.....he eventually replied Leman
O/h then asked him for his phone number... there was a deathly silence, my o/h said can you let me have your telephone number... he then said 01 mutter mutter mutter so he could not here what the number was, my o/h asked again to repeat it and he said 0177248 then the line went dead. lol
MY ADVICE IS SIMPLE - DO NOT GIVE ANY OF THESE COLD CALLERS ANY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION AND NEVER DISCLOSE YOUR NAME, MORTGAGE DETAILS, BANK OR CREDIT CARD NUMBERS. THEY ARE PHISHING FOR INFORMATION TO SELL ON AND OR USE AS A SCAM TO GET AS MUCH INFORMATION ON YOU AND POSSIBLY SCAM YOU OUT OF MONEY. YOU DO NOT KNOW WHO THEY ARE, THEY CANNOT EVEN ANSWER SIMPLE QUESTIONS SUCH AS THEIR PHONE NUMBER. HOW CAN YOU TRUST A COMPANY LIKE THIS THAT IS NOT UPFRONT WITH WHO THEY REALLY ARE.
DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS SUCH A COMPANY IN THE UK CALLED UK LOANS?
