Comet, extra care cover

News just on that Comet have gone into administration.
I have a two year extra care cover on this android tablet.
Where will I stand regarding this?
It was a Christmas present last year so has another year to go.
Dont usually bother with them but felt it was worth it for this.

My guess is that you need to check who the underwriters are (if that's what they call them)

Just been on BBC breakfast talking about any one with vouchers, advice is to spend them now (mentioned on another thread).
The person was asked about warranty's and it is still unclear if the company in the Isle of Man will still keep to the obligations in your contract, will try and actually go to a store this weekend to see if I can get any answers.
I have only had minor niggles with the Android anyway to date

Went to our "local" comet yesterday.
He gave me a print out which I have attached.
They will not take any gift cards or vouchers

We went to ours yesterday as it was being said that everything was being sold off, yeah right, there was no deals to be had, I spoke to an assistant and he said that they were not allowed to reduce any prices and it was all down to media hype. I asked him about people with gift vouchers and he said that they were all waiting to be told what to do about that.

Issues with anything, including warranty, can be dealt with by CCA s75 if applicable.

Tried to phone them this morning, on both numbers I have, just on hold gave up after four minutes!
Been confirmed on the news about gift cards etc.

Got through today, male on the line very annoying, kept on calling me "madam" and seemed to talk to me as if I was stupid, asked about the little niggles and was told to contact Samsung.
Cutting my losses and cancelling this cover as he seemed uncertain what would happen should a need the promised new for old replacement muttered something about a voucher,
Also phoned Samsung and was promised a ring back within five minutes an hour ago.
On local radio there have been people ringing in about non delivery of paid for goods and they have been told that they are unlikely to get anything at the moment.

yes I heard that, a bit of good news! cancelled the extra care and Samsung are arranging to look at the issues I do have.
