  • Private car selling

    Hi,

I recently sold a car privately and now the buyer is asking for a refund. I was honest in my description of the car and they were aware the engine was running a bit poor but said they were willing to pay to get any problems with the car fixed. They also signed a receipt saying they had 'brought as seen'

Now they are saying they took the car to a garage and the cost to carryout repairs is more than they want to pay. They are threatening to take me to a small claims court, do they have any right to?

    Thank you for any help.
