I replied to a classified add in the Daily Mail advertising 'Snuggies' buy one get one free - they were for Xmas presents. This was on 29 November 2010. I have sent numerous emails to their advertised email address and have received zero replies. I did manage to get through to their so called order dept at a premuim of 10p per minute and they confirmed the order but to date I have still not received anything, not a word, not a parcel.

I copied the invouce to the FTO and await a reply.

What is my next step to recover my money or receive the goods?

Good, then this is a VISA card. All VISA cards are covered by the VISA Chargeback scheme.

Contact your card issuer and request a Chargeback form. Note that the VISA Chargeback scheme has a time limit of 120 days and you must make your claim within that period.

Visa Chargeback is a process that allows you to reverse a transaction if you are unhappy with the item received, or if the item you have ordered does not arrive, or if your Visa debit card has been used fraudulently.

Chargeback is part of the Visa Scheme Rules, which participating banks subscribe to. It applies to all Visa debit cards and also covers prepaid Visa cards and Visa Electron purchases.

Telephone your card issuing bank and ask for a Visa Chargeback form. If the person you speak to does not know what that is, ask to speak to a supervisor and then repeat your request for a Visa Chargeback form. Once you have been sent the form you complete it and make a claim against the sellers bank for the return of your money.

i was listening to the radio the othe day i elieve that as the goods have not arrived within 30days then underthe distance selling regs the contract isdeemednot to have taken place . Go to card issuer tell them he situatio they will arrange ar refund if there is a difficulty then use the charge back from visa . if still no joy try approaching the paper as they are often jealous of their reputation and may refund but first go to your card issuer

The last email I sent to the company said simply 'see you in court' .................... Last night I received a reply - the first ever in dozens of attempts. They stated that the goods had been despatched on 30th December via Royal Mail and to allow 10 days for deliver - thats today even allowing for the bank holiday.

I had already contacted the Daily Mail and they have not yet bothered to reply.

I also contact sage (Protx) who waved their hands in the air claiming non involvement.

I have replied to their email of last night, stating that, in my view, the 10 days are up. It does not take the Royal Mail 10 days to deliver even a second class package, at least not in my experience. I think the company are stalling myself. I will give them another couple of days then go to the bank for that claimback form.

I ordered through Amazon on the 17th December and it was dispatched same day. I received the item on the 6th January, that was via Royal mail.

Hmmm, ok, so maybe they do 'take their time,' - up to now then I had been somewhat lucky. I use amazon a lot and have never really had much delay.

I had 3 orders from Amazon with no delay at all, the last item was from Scotland so the reason was supposedly the bad weather and then a huge backlog. Have you checked with your local delivery office?
