Hi all just a quick question.
probably been answered a millions times before but,

I brought a Fitbit watch 2 weeks ago from Argos. The watch has become faulty, does not track distance walked, steps taken etc, but will track distances run.

So if I take it back to Argos are they obliged to give me a refund or will they say it’s got to go back to the manufacturer.

    many thanks

Retailer is responsible although that doesn't stop some of them trying to fob you off with telling you to take it up with.the manufacturer.

Did you buy online or at an Argos shop?

If online what date was the watch delivered to you? If in shop what date did you buy it?

You have the legal right to a refund if you return your faulty item within 30 days of receiving it. There's a useful summary of the law on this on the 'Which' consumer advice site, which also has draft letter templates.

I want to return my goods, what are my rights? - Which?

              Just a quick update

rang Argos yesterday evening and was told a refund would be paid within 5 working days and they would be collecting faulty fit bit on Saturday.
Very happy with the outcome .

Thank you for all your help
