Fraud by misrepresentation credit hire

Hi just updating the thread with further developments.
In the end the car hire company did challenge the charge back stating it was invalid as I'd signed a contract (that they tricked me into signing).
I successfully put my case forward that the company made fraudulent misrepresentations that induced me into signing a credit hire agreement that I was led to believe was a direct hire through the Insurance.
My argument was accepted and the credit card company rejected the car company's appeal. It says they can escalate this further if they want ( I believe it would then go to the card issuer to decide) within 30 days.
I will keep this thread updated when I hear more!
