Consumer Rights Act - Are theses costs covered....?

My new extractor fan failed and the suppiier agreed to replace it. First time round, I had to pay an electrician to fit it to satisfy the warranty. They are saying that they will not cover the cost of fitting the replacement. The cost of fitting it is actually more than the cost of the fan!

Am I being penalised for a fault in somthing that I purchased? Does the CRA require them to pay for the second time round fitting?

CRA 2015 sec23 (2)If the consumer requires the trader to repair or replace the goods, the trader must—
(a)do so within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to the consumer, and
(b)bear any necessary costs incurred in doing so (including in particular the cost of any labour, materials or postage).

Thank you for your reply DES8. I think that the excerpt that you have posted makes it clear that there is a defined responsibility for the supplier in the Act. I will put this to them.
