Hi PEZZA54, we were looking to buy this model to replace one we had previously. When viewing the car it was as advertised in the pictures. On delivery the wheels were painted so as not as we purchased. As you can see from the advertised pictures the wheels were of excellent condition and required no repairs.we believe these have been swapped before delivery and this also effectively changes the value of the vehicle.we would not of even gone to view the vehicle if it did not have the diamond cut wheels in the advert

If your photos show the wheels are painted and the advert photos show shiny diamond cut alloys then you can claim the car was misrepresented.
You say the wheels had a shiny diamond cut finish and were in good condition when you viewed the car so there was no need for any refurbishment work to the wheels.
Have you checked the tyres. Do they match? If the dealer changed the wheels it is likely the tyres are not the same ones that you viewed.
I advise you don't give your opinion that the wheels were swapped in your claim. State the wheels on the delivered car are not the ones in the advert or on the car at the time of viewing.
If you get the wheels diamond cut and make a claim for the cost of this, the Judge may make a deduction for betterment (the wheels are now perfect and in a better condition than those in the advert).

Hi PEZZA54, we purchased this vehicle to replace one of the same model we had before. We would not have viewed the vehicle if it was not as the advertised pictures or the same on viewing. The advertised photos do show the wheels in excellent condition so should not have needed any repairs. We believe they have been swapped before delivery . These are the advertised photos and the last picture is of the spay painted wheels on delivery. The painted wheels have affected the value of the vehicle and we don’t feel this dealer should be able to fob us off in this situation

I can see the difference now, particularly around the bolts.
Starting a court claim fee for a claim up to £500 is £50, and up to £1000 is £70
Get the wheels recut and lacquered, send LBA to the dealer and if the dealer fails to respond or refuses to refund any money, start a court claim.
Hopefully, the dealer knowing he is in the wrong, will make an offer to settle.and avoid court
