  • Very expensive car seat faulty and out of two year warranty

    Hi

we purchased a car seat from a company called AXKID for £600 (expensive but worth it). After two years, the item is now faulty and unusable (it can be slid back to provide more legroom however the sliding mechanism is faulty meaning it’s stuck in one position and my son is too tall for it).

the company are saying that because it’s out of warranty, I now have to pay for the repair, where do I stand?

Surely at that price (it’s the most expensive car seat on the market), I should be ok to assume it will last more than two years before breaking?

Any help would be much appreciated!
