  • Why don't companies pursue costs against LIP's after they are awarded?

Curious as to why a company might be awarded say £500 costs when an LIP is unsuccessful, but would then not bother pursuing payment if such?

It's a cost/benefit calculation. What are the chances of actually extracting payment, compared with the cost, time and hassle.
