  • Am I a consumer

I want to clarify if I am classed as a consumer under The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 regarding a recently purchased course.

The Act says you are a consumer if acting outside your trade, business, craft or profession.

The course is an Ambulance driving course in view of getting employment in the ambulance service however I do not currently work (but have applied for a job) in this industry.

What I would like to be clear on is if I am still classed as a consumer in this scenario.

    Thanks in advance.

I would expect that you are not a consumer. Training for a career is part of the pursuit of that career/trade etc. Not 100%
