Hi all hoping someone might know the answer before I start paying for proceedings. I recently bought a specialist vehicle for forestry work from the Netherlands and agreed the sale based on description and video. (2nd hand) the vehicle was to be dropped off at the port of Rotterdam to be driven across by us. Long story short they delivered the vehicle with a lot of damage caused by loading and not running or braking. They are absolving themselves of all responsibilities and say its 2nd hand and our problem but we now have had thousands of additional costs. Do we have a form of redress as an official complaint got nowhere.

As you are UK based you'll probably need to appoint a Dutch lawyer or find a British solicitor who can practise in the Netherlands
