    Here's the text, Don't know why you couldn't past

    This is for a friend of mine. He booked a flight to Cuba with a company called Travel Trolley that's who he paid, but he was flying with Air Europa which is a Spanish company. He should have been flying 14th April 2020 but they cancelled his flight through the covid situation and every time he rang Travel Trolley they are saying he will be get paid soon then he rings back and they say they don't know why they have said that. His bank won't claim it back because its been to long and when he rings Air Europa they put phone down when he ask them about a refund. Now they are saying that they want £350 to change the flight and that he must take the flight before the end of February this year and that is that! Any advice, opinions? Thanks in advance.

        Small mistake, it was £190 to change booking even though that booking has long gone, and any new booking must be taken before 30th of March.

          2. Involuntary refunds

          If Air Europa cancels a flight, fail to operate a flight reasonably according to schedule or fail to stop at passenger’s destination or Stopover or cause passenger to miss a connecting Flight, on which passenger holds a reservation under a single Contract of Carriage, the amount of the refund shall be:

          a) If no portion of the Ticket has been used, an amount equal to the fare paid;

                  I agree with England. If you want a refund for something bought in a shop you don't ask the maker of the goods.

                    How did they pay? If they used a credit card then you can look at section 75 CCA 1974 too
